Some time ago, during the infant years of qball.org, we asked a automobile guru to contribute thoughts, ideas, and his opinion on vehicles. He came up with decent enough excuses (job, time, getting married) that the column never really got off the ground. We should thank him, unlike the other authors we have taken on, he didn't throw a few our way and then disappear into thin air. He had the courtesy to quit before even starting. Before we get into a never ending rant, let us show you the Click of the Week.

So this car guru knows his BMWs, specifically the M coupe. His cleverness has even put together a click dedicated to a festival he has organized. He doesn't hide the fact being a BMW dork, he actually relishes in his dorkiness. That is why his click is titled mDork. Not only that, his organized festival is the very popular Dorkfest.

Granted, mDork does not have too much content, but Dorkfest has grown in popularity over its two year existence. Dorkfest v2 actually got some press other than on the internet famous qball.org. You can view page 1 and page 2 of an article about Dorkfest v2. Unfortunately, we do not know the magazine title or have a better copy of this review until the dork himself returns our calls. (what a dork)

What really bugs us is another article, written by the mDork himself. Here is page 1 and page 2 of an article titled Distinctly Dorkazoid found in the Bombe newsletter. We think this is a beautifully written article, one that deserves praise. We are proud to say we know mDork. No longer will we hide behind excuses claiming he was just a car dork that followed us around. We will hold our head high and cry out at the top of our lungs to anyone who questions the dorkiness of mDork!. Or we just might just pass the word on about mDork.

We are hurt that mDork was published elsewhere first, but we are confident this was just a mistake. A memory mishap if you will. We see no reason why we would not get the publishing rights to mDork's next article. Do you?
