We have returned! Let us all celebrate with a mild cheer or a nod of the head! Actually, any action other than clicking the back button will suit us nicely. Like usual (as usual as qball.org can get) we begin with the Click of the Week.
We like to keep ourselves up to date with the latest news and happenings around the globe, mostly because we try to impress strangers with random facts and small local stories. The best place for these kind of news stories are newspaper websites, such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the kids news room. All viable sources of top headlines. However, almost everyone of these news sites give you a taste of an article and then makes you subscribe to get the rest of the article. Granted, it is free, but who wants to spend the time and give our personal information to these places? Not us, we usually use other people's information from our contact list, but that still takes time.
The Click of the Week solves this annoying issue. BugMeNot.com gives you the power to "bypass compulsory web registration." This click is a perfect way to get to information that you want to see without providing all of your personal information. There are two simple ways to bypass these annoying login. Thankfully, BugMeNot.com has provided a helpful FAQ as well as a flash tutorial for the simple and advanced method of using their service. Both work the same, one might be a little quicker than the other in entering the login and password information.
However, this tool does get a little annoying at the popular sites. Usually the first suggestion by BugMeNot.com does not work. Clicking on button for another suggestion helps, and we find that usually the second one, if not the third suggestion will get you where you want to go. We even advise skipping over the first one without trying. It saves a little time. We tried it on everything, and it seems ineffective for pay sites like iTunes, Playboy, and ESPNinside, but for most subscription sites that are "free" we have made sure know one knows who is reading up on the latest kids news!
