This weeks DL is one that is suddenly close to the heart of qball.org. I must first state that this DL ain't your typical DL. You probably already have it installed on your operation system ('puter). We are talking about Windows System Backup Utility. Now, I am not going to go into how to use it, because that is what this quick tutorial is for. I am going to stress that after experiencing my dilemma, that everyone should backup their information, documents, emails, etc.

Now don't get me wrong, qball.org had backup in place an running. We just didn't account to backup daily, or to another source. Recovering most of the important files was not too hard, but we did lose quite a bit as well. I would advise backing up "My Documents" folder and your email.

*If you are using Outlook, your email info is stored in the following location: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

There are plenty of tutorials to walk you through backing up the important info, but do make sure to place that on a separate hard drive. We advise setting a complex RAID system where no data can be lost without trying really hard. Seriously, there are hundreds of places to learn about backing up info from your system, and it is quite important. Even this tutorial provided surprisingly relevant easy steps. Of course, you can always call qball.org's 900 hotline and have a representative with a sexy voice help you out. Either way has its benefits.
